Thanks to all who attended the IABC/PRSA Spring Professional Development Conference - and to all those who graciously agreed to participate and assist! Nothing like this ever comes together without the involvement and contributions of many people. I for one, appreciated the opportunity to get to know our colleagues in PRSA and to hear Laura Ries.

It's not often we get to hear a nationally known expert speak to our local professional community -- if you missed it, you missed an interesting and relevant discussion on how critical communications/PR are to success.

Your feedback on the conference and session is always helpful - I encourage you to use this forum to share your feedback to help us plan even better programs in the future.

One comment I'd like to share:
"If our primary goal was providing a gret conference for our members, we were very successful. This was really the most successful conference I've been involved with in terms of attendance, sponsorships, etc." -- Jason Mathis, PRSA
Thanks Jason!

Let us know your thoughts - the program? the parking? the food? the venue? communicating the event? registration?

And be looking for a fun and beneficial IABC event in June! (details to follow!)

What a great conference. Laura gave a great presentation that was not only lively and professional, but also resonated the value of having a singular message you can be known for. She went over several key concepts multiple times, with multiple examples that you could remember. Unlike most speakers who try and pack their presentation full of a million ideas, so much so you walk out thinking "What was that she said again about that?". I honestly didn't want her presentation to end.
